Tanushree Ghosh is a scientist and engineer working in the US who actively pursues writing and activism in her spare time. She has a Ph.D in Chemistry from Cornell University, NY and has worked at the Brookhaven National labs. She has been an active volunteer with international NGOs like ASHA for Education and AID India supporting coordinator and project coordinator roles and has delivered projects designing sustainable solutions for humanitarian aid in collaboration with NGOs and universities . She is a blogger for the Huffington Post and has contributed to several other blogs and e-zines writing primarily on issues concerning women, mental health and social justice. She has also contributed to anthologies (most significantly Defiant Dreams, selected for Oprah Book Club 2.0) and has an upcoming collection of short stories in the works. She spends her weekends attempting ‘not so good in the end’ DIYs with her 3 year old daughter.
