It is time for us to announce the shortlist and winners for our 2015 Creative Writing Competition!
Each winner will receive a £100 prize, and we will be publishing the shortlisted and winning entries over the next seven weeks beginning this Sunday.

Priscilla Morris
Priscilla Morris is an emerging writer in residence at Kingston University, where she gave a well-received Fiction Workshop series in February this year. She has an MA with Distinction and a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia. She’s currently finishing her first novel, which is about love, war, art and loss, and is set during the 1990s siege of Sarajevo.

Agnieszka Studzinska
Agnieszka Studzinska was born in Poland in 1975. She has an MA in Creative Writing from the UEA. She has previously worked as a freelance researcher in broadcasting, an English teacher and is now a freelance editor of a community magazine in West London as well as a creative writing tutor. Her first debut collection, Snow Calling was shortlisted for the London New Poetry Award 2010. Her second collection, What Things Are (Eyewear Publishing 2014) was described by the award winning novelist and poet, Michael Symmons Roberts, as a ‘A subtle and beautiful collection in which – poem by poem – the possibility of true knowledge is tested. Intimate and attentive, each poem returns to the question of what we can know of the world and each other.’ She lives in London with her husband and two children.
